Carol Macilroy
Carol is the owner of Carol MacIlroy Consulting Corporation. She is a strategic and analytical thinker who has worked across the Puget Sound region helping communities and organizations address environmental and societal issues. She has managed and supported complex natural resource planning processes, facilitated the integration of science and policy, and moved diverse and conflicted groups toward substantive decisions and products. In this capacity she has worked with the Puget Sound Partnership; Snohomish, King and Clallam counties; the San Juan Initiative; Skagit Climate Science Consortium; The Russell Family Foundation; and The Nature Conservancy. She was a key staff in the Shared Strategy for Puget Sound salmon recovery effort and previously worked for local government at King County’s Department of Natural Resources. Prior to working on environmental policy she directed an environmental service-learning program. She has a B.S. in Environmental Science from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon.
