SC² fosters collaborative scientific research and translates technical, Skagit-specific data into credible, actionable resources relevant to a wide range of interested stakeholders, including:
Government Officials
working to strengthen and protect their community now and in the future, managing and investing in infrastructure, economic vitality, habitat protection, and parks
Natural Resource Managers & Scientists
assessing how changes to precipitation, temperature, flows, water quality, sea level, and temporal patterns may affect ecosystems and species throughout the Skagit basin
Farmers, Businesses & Residents
interested in assessing the potential effects on their land, livelihood, and quality of life due to changes in water supply, flood risks, wildfires, weather patterns, and ocean acidity
